Inter Miami manager Phil Neville has told playmaker Rodolfo Pizarro what he expects from him ahead of the home game with D.C. United on Saturday night in the MLS.
On Pizarro, Phil Neville told reporters that the Inter Miami coaching crew and the other players expect big things from the playmaker who has had some setbacks in recent weeks.
Pizarro was left out of the Mexico squad for the upcoming games after he had missed the Chicago game with an injury. He sat out the MLS clash with Chicago Fire because of a hip flexor injury. He was also recently dropped from the Inter Miami line-up by Phil Neville for the Cincinnati game.
Neville also affirmed that Pizarro is a big part of the Inter Miami team and that what he needs is the platform to produce his best displays for Inter Miami.
Pizarro has recovered fully from the injury that made him miss the Chicago game last weekend. He was absent from the MLS clash which ended in a 1-0 defeat for his team. It is not certain whether the Mexican international player would make the starting XI for the D.C. United game this weekend.
Federico Higuain has played well for Inter Miami since replacing Pizarro in the No. 10 position ahead of the penultimate league game against Cincinnati which ended in a 3-2 win for Inter Miami. Higuain retained his spot for the defeat at the hands of Chicago Fire last weekend.
