Former England international Phil Neville says that Manchester United should consider signing Palermo striker Paulo Dybala before anyone else.
The Argentine is regarded as the next Sergio Aguero and he has already caught the eye with some impressive performances in the Italian Serie A.Dybala is one of the top scorers in the league with seven to his name. He has also created three goals in the 14 league appearances. At just 21, he is just starting to establish himself in the Palermo team. Despite his impressive form, Palermo are struggling in the middle of the table due to a weak defence.
Since they are unlikely to be in the Champions League next season, clubs with a much better history and prestige will be able to offer him a chance.Dybala has already been linked with a move to the Premier league in January. Southampton and Arsenal are reportedly interested in making an offer, but after witnessing his performances in the latest league outing against Torino, Neville is convinced that United should sign him immediately. Palermo presidentMaurizio Zamparini is aware of the interest surrounding the striker and he has placed a £ 31 million transfer fee for anyone looking to sign the 21-year-old.
“Watched a player last night who’s going to be a star Palermos Argentine Dybala remember the name!!” said Phil Neville.“Within two years, he’s going to be better than Cristiano Ronaldo, [Lionel] Messi and [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic. It would take €40m (£31m) to take him away from us. He’s the best striker in Serie A,” said the Palermo president. Paulo Dybalacame to Palermo in 2012 and this is his best season till date. After scoring three goals in his debut campaign,Dybala is already up to 7 for the season.Dybala is not blessed with physical presence like Sergio Aguero, but he is extremely talented.
